The healing forest
Chapter from the book

In the previous chapter we presented basic terms from the field of trauma. We pointed out the differences between post-traumatic stress disorder, PTSD, and normal post-traumatic stress disorder that occur relatively soon after the event. In this chapter, with reference to the term 'resilience', we will point out the ways in which people who are exposed to crises and traumatic events, manage to deal with them successfully without developing PTSD and / or such reactions. We will point out the significant healing potential that exists in the imagination and that which exists in the fantastic reality and in the metaphor in particular.

Safe place

Mamerza will offer a perspective that recognizes the importance of the imagination ¨ the game¨ the body and the group as key components in the development of the child's resilience and in the importance of the kindergarten and kindergarten as having central significance for its development  While referring to the nature therapy program - "Safe Place" that was activated after  The Second Lebanon War in dozens of kindergartens in the north and with thousands of children the article will present the model

The resilience and method of nature therapy as well as ways that can be applied in the garden will include background  Theories of research references and examples of applications from the field

Creation, acting and drama  Health, meaning
And happiness in old age

In this list I will try to present the meaning and potential of the use of drama and creation to promote developmental processes among the elderly in general and issues related to relieving loneliness and dealing with separation processes, in particular. I will start with a short theoretical presentation and continue with examples, a move in fact. These are based on the work of the Drama Therapy Group within the Galilee Veterans Association and are famous for the conference "Creation, Acting and Drama - Health, Meaning and Happiness in Old Age", which took place at Tel Aviv University, Herzog Institute, in June 2015.

Back to the ceremony

In this article I will try to present the potential of the concept and the ceremonial model as a framework for the construction, development and maintenance of creative therapy processes that work through the experience and remain in it. Using two examples of working with female students in therapist training programs and addressing the questionnaires given afterwards, I will show how these experiential model and approach can contain complex (and sometimes chaotic) development and transformation processes, and how they reorganize the experience and meaning within the body without interpretation or verbal processing.

Embody many characters
Speak many languages

This article presents two new models for integration in arts-based instruction. Each offers an axis through which one can observe and examine difficulties and complexities in art-based therapy from a creative perspective. The first model, is based on the role theory he developed for Andioncra "to play many characters". This model defines the roles of the therapist in the arts in terms of theatrical roles and proposes to observe, examine and choose through them the role of the therapist and his position. The model makes it possible to identify mismatched role choices and suggest ways to improve them. The second model is based on the bridge model from AHD developed by Hadad and Ayalon and the EPR model for evaluation and treatment developed by Jennings  And its name is "Speaking Many Languages." This model looks at the meaning of the choice of medium and creative language for the existence of the particular intervention, in the way it can promote the process,

or alternatively delay it
