Nature Therapy
Nature Therapy is a creative therapeutic method that takes place in nature while incorporating the relationship with nature in the process. Its conceptualization and development started in Berger's PhD theses (2008) and went on in many articles and books that followed. Following the success that Nature Therapy programs had with thousands of children and youth in Israel and the international success of "The healing forest" protocol book, co-written with Prof. Mooli Lahad, the method received worldwide recognition and acknowledgment. The book was translated and published in 5 languages allowing this nature and arts-based program to be used and help many children that were exposed to war and trauma around the world.
Berger gave Nature Therapy post graduate trainings in Tel Hai College (2004-2008) and in Tel Aviv University (2009-2015) until he made a shift and opened the Drama Therapy MA program at Ono Academic College in 2015. Currently he gives only short trainings in Israel and around alongside to Nature Therapy's training graduates that developed their own programs.
